From the High School Science Department:
I know I have posted a lot of pictures of Science Club this school year, but I just cannot get enough of how well these 20+ students (4K-senior) work together and learn together. It was a crazy idea of bringing so many ages together, and it worked! And it worked every single week!
Today at Nature Center was the epitome of kindness and learning together, with the big kids helping the little kids to explore and the little kids asking questions that tested all of our knowledge and experience. What a great group of students! I cannot wait to see what we can learn next year.

The Warcats came out on top 21-6 over the Red Raiders last night in Winter!
Kaydance Granica (pictured right) added 2 more home runs to her stat line, and Alyssa Holt (pictured left) added one of her own as well. Great WORK Warcats!

The class of 2026 had so much fun celebrating together on their trip. Together we were able to go swimming, play laser tag, and do an escape room (Lueloff's group won!), play mini golf, and go on a mountain ride. The last day we really lived it up with a Hibachi dinner and walking at the Aquaviva Lumina. It was a great time and perfect Hoorah for the Class of 2026.
From Mrs. Strop : 5th Grade Battle of the Books
On May 7th, a small group of 5th graders traveled to Ashland to the new Vaughn Library to compete in the Battle of the Books-grades 4-6. In order to be prepared for the competition, participants are to read 20 chapter books on a given list. There were 14 teams from Cesa 12 that participated. When asked a question about a book, team members had 20 seconds to quietly talk it over and decide on the answer. Then the team captain needed to say into the microphone the correct title and author of that book to earn 5 points. There were a total of 3 rounds, with teams being eliminated after each. Our team did outstanding in the first round and earned a spot for round 2, while 5 other teams were eliminated. Unfortunately, we didn't make it to the final round, but this team was outstanding! They competed against some big schools! They look forward to participating again next year!

Congratulations to the first 5 winners of our Race to 100 challenge with the Winter Public Library! These students have read 100 books BY THEMSELVES this year already! They worked really hard, and we are very proud of them.
Special thanks to Mrs. Amanda and Mrs. Knuckey at the public library for all of their encouragement and support this year. We have had an absolute blast!
