Kindergarten is gearing up for their last 7 days of school! As we are getting ready for summer vacation, we are looking back at all the great memories we made, as well as all the wonderful learning we have done. Check out what our kids are proud of themselves for learning this year.

Winter 4th and 5th graders had the opportunity to take a trip to Pasanen's Farm to tour their rotary milking parlor! It was amazing to see how smooth the operation works. What a fun, educational trip. We were thankful for the invitation. Thank you for spoiling us with yummy cheese curds, ice cream, and treat bags!

Winter Golf Conference Meet Recap - May 19, 2026

Be the 1 Recognition: The Winter School District Recognition Program recognizes outstanding WORK and COMMITMENT by students and staff to the school and the communities that we serve. At the Regular School Board Meeting on Monday, May 18th, Freshman Ryan G received a Be the 1 Recognition Certificate from Mr. Olson for showing the Warrior Way during the PowWow Event the previous week. Congratulations, Ryan, and Thank You!
Afterwards, Superintendent Craig Olson presented the entire Winter School District Staff with the staff version of the Be the 1 Recognition Certificate. Pictured are the staff members who were able to attend the meeting. Congratulations, everyone, and Thank You!

Winter High School's Class of 2026 Scholarship Awards Night was held on Wednesday, May 13. Students, families, friends, school staff, and area businesses and organizations were in attendance. Kinders have been doing a year-long observation project on the life cycle of plants. In October, we cut a pumpkin into quarters and planted it in a cheese ball container with soil to observe its growth in our window. We did the same to our apple seeds from the apple tree outside our window in the vinary. Today, after the entire year of growth, we planted them in the community garden!!! Special thanks to Ashley and Lux for coming to help dig and plant with us! (and their teachers for letting them!)

Our softball team had a great opportunity last night to travel together and watch Rice Lake Softball in action! It was a fun team bonding experience and a chance for our players to learn from a successful program while enjoying the game together. Thank you to Rice Lake for the hospitality and for putting on a great game!

Please join us in celebrating the Class of 2026 at graduation tonight at 7:00 PM in the high school gym. We look forward to honoring the accomplishments of this outstanding group of students!
