Happy Girls and Women in Sports Day!
Girls and Women in Sports Day is a time to celebrate the strength, dedication, and leadership of our Winter Warrior athletes and coaches. Today, we recognize the girls and women who compete with confidence, support their teammates, and represent our school with pride both on and off the court.
We also thank our coaches who mentor, empower, and inspire these athletes every day. Your commitment helps shape not only successful teams, but strong, confident young women.
We are proud to celebrate the impact of girls and women in sports and the Winter Warriors who continue to set the standard.
This is a notably special year as the WIAA celebrates the 50th anniversary of the girls state basketball tournament this year. Given that our athletes are a part of this milestone in women's sports in the state of Wisconsin and our country, our players, coaches, and event workers will be sporting 50 year anniversary commemorative t-shirts throughout the playoffs. This was made possible by some of our generous sponsors.
Keep making us proud, Warrior girls and women!

Mrs. Strop's 5th graders participated in a virtual field trip called SCAT and TRACKS. In this interactive activity students worked together in small groups using clues and evidence(scat, tracks, markings) left behind to identify animals. Another way to identify an animal is by the type of walker it is. Is it a bounder, pacer, diagonal walker, or galloper? Fifth graders always have a blast with this field trip. They are excited to get out in nature and start identifying animals. What a fun activity!

It's Game Day!!

Liesel is academically responsible and encourages her classmates to be as well. In Liesel's spare time, she likes to read, golf, work with animals, spend time with her friends, and play games. Liesel is our "January Student of the Month."
Congratulations, Liesel!
Congratulations, Liesel!

Ryan Granica is the HS Boys Player of the Week. Ryan gives 100 percent effort in practice and in games. He puts in extra work. He plays hard on both ends of the floor and has a great understanding of the game!

This week the Physical Science students have learned about velocity, acceleration and momentum. Each student designed and built a rubber band car using only specific supplies. Then, we tested each car for its maximum distance traveled in three trials. However, the catch is points are subtracted from the total score for each item used to build the car! The good news is that every car went at least some distance forward! Nice job, High Schoolers!

The winter Olympics are right around the corner and the K/1 students are having a great time learning about the different games that the US will be competing in. After learning about the sport of CURLING, we decided to have a friendly game of Math Olympics! Kinders practiced their teen numbers, while first grade practiced their adding and subtracting sentences. Team USA vs Team Canada! All were great sports and we even had our Medal Ceremony for gold and silver. We are definitely looking forward to seeing the real thing this February!

We are seeking highly qualified teachers for the 2026-2027 School Year!
