Congratulations to Marlin, Grant & Keiana!!
They are our FIRST kinder students to read 100 books this year! We have been working soooooooo hard at this, and the Winter Public Library has been the absolute best partner, hosting activities for us each month to help encourage our reading. Each student who reads 100 books gets a prize, a certificate and a free book!
The rest of our kids are past 30 and at various levels leading to 100. We still have 2 months to go! Keep up the great reading!

Electrical Safety Program comes to the Winter School
Jump River Electric Cooperative came to the Winter School on Monday, March 24th to do a demonstration on Electrical Safety with the first and third grade students. Cory Andraschko and Ben Valentin brought Neon Leon, Lightning Liz and Oscar Meyer for a terrific program demonstration. The students learned about electrical safety in their homes and in their neighborhoods. Jump River gave the students pencils and informational coloring books to take home and share with their families. All of the students created Electrical Safety posters for a contest for Jump River. The winners will receive $50 for First Place and $25 for Second Place. Keep your fingers crossed that students from our school will win this fun contest!
