Gracie is hardworking and has become an outstanding defender. She’s been pushing herself in practices and really having a lot of fun doing it. Her dance moves on the court are top notch. Keep up the great work Gracie.

Mr. Delabar randomly discovered that a high percentage of our high schoolers had an affinity for Just Dance, so they arranged a pre-break party for the kids to relax and have fun while still working on their cardio and rhythms. Some of our kids can really move! The PE class created the playlist for the event and one student donated tons of glow sticks for us to enhance the experience.
Overall, it was a smashing success. Thanks to all of the participating students and all of the parents who have probably heard these songs hundreds of times in the past 14-18 years! Us teachers were thoroughly impressed!

The American Legion Oratorical Contest exists to develop a deeper knowledge and appreciation for the U.S. Constitution among high school students. Since 1938, the program has presented participants with an academic speaking challenge that teaches important leadership qualities, the history of our nation’s laws, the ability to think and speak clearly, and an understanding of the duties, responsibilities, rights and privileges of American citizenship.
Ethan was awarded a total of $300.00, from the Winter Post and the Sawyer County American Legion, and will go on to compete in January against winners from 6 other counties in northwestern Wisconsin for further cash prizes. This provides him an opportunity to compete for a $25,000 scholarship at the National level.
