Tuesday March 25 Juniors will be taking the ACT test; they should arrive at 8:00 sharp.
9th, 10th, and 12th graders will be virtual on Tuesday March 25, they should check in to each of their classes throughout the day.
Join the Winter High School Drama Club for four original One-Act Performances; a series of short plays. We will take you to an ordinary convenience store in which one man's decision to be nice goes terribly wrong. And, how much time should you give yourself when arriving at an airport security line? Plus, superheroes come in all shapes and sizes...or do they?

Student of the Month - March
Christian Petit
Our Winter Middle School Student of the Month for March is 8th grade student, Christian Petit. He was chosen to be student of the month by his teachers for showing growth both academically and in his leadership. Mr. Matheseson said that Christian has stepped up as the percussion section leader in the 7th/8th grade band. During the 2nd trimester, Christian worked hard academically and made the B honor roll with a 3.085 GPA. He is also 1 of 8 students with perfect attendance. This winter he participated in basketball and has recently joined the middle school track team. When asked what his favorite thing about school is, Christian said, “reading and math”.

March 27th we will be having a Middle School Band Concert at 7:00 in the Auditorium. Please, come and enjoy yourselves while supporting some great musicians! See you there!

Kaylee Langham
Our Winter Middle School Student of the Month for February is Kaylee Langham. Kaylee is in 6th grade. She was chosen to be student of the month by her teachers for being a positive role model to her classmates. During the 2nd trimester, Kaylee was on the A honor roll, participated in basketball, and all the Breakaway Tuesday parties. Her classmates had this to say about her, “She is a nice person and she’s funny.” and “Kaylee is athletic.”

We were lucky enough to have Malte come back to visit. Last year Malte was a foreign exchange student from Sweden staying in Winter with the Granica's. He was involved in many sports, clubs and an amazing student. He was known to Mrs. Lueloff as Richy Rich because he ALWAYS won at Monopoly. Well, this visit was no different, he won every game! We will miss you and can't wait for your next visit!

On Wednesday, February 19, we had the honor of hosting the Lakeland Honor Society Induction Ceremony. We proudly welcomed seven high school students and two Junior Honor Society members into this prestigious organization. Congratulations to these outstanding students on their continued academic excellence. We are proud to call you Warriors!

Due to extreme cold temperatures and hazardous conditions, the Winter School District will be closed on Tuesday, February 18.
This closure includes all in-person classes, after-school activities, and school-sponsored events.
We encourage families to take precautions in the extreme cold, ensuring students stay safe and warm.

Two-Hour Delay – Tuesday, February 18
Due to frigid temperatures and wind chill, Winter School District will operate on a two-hour delay tomorrow, Tuesday, February 18.
- Buses will run two hours later than usual.
- Breakfast will not be served.
- Classes will begin at 10:00 AM.
Please ensure students dress warmly for the weather. We appreciate your understanding as we prioritize the safety of our students and staff.
